The Fluke T5-1000 Open Jaw Digital Clamp Meter is a reliable tester that automatically measures volts AC and volts DC with precise digital resolution.
This compact and rugged voltage tester has been designed to be incredibly portable, and it doesn’t disappoint in this. Accurately able to measure up to 1000V, you can easily switch between AC and DC displays.
The T5 fixed jaws allow you to measure the current up to 100A without having to break a circuit – simply slide the cable between the jaws. Regardless to how much dirt, moisture or mud is on the cable, the T5 will still be able to work.
Easy to use with just one hand, the T5 has a test lead slot in its back, making the meter an “extended handle” for the probe and leaving the user’s other hand free to place the other lead.
The large, clear display makes readings easy to see and it includes a hold feature for checking the value away from the reading position.
Whether using this professionally or at home, this will allow you to check loads off a branch circuit from a service panel, measure the load side voltage of a circuit breaker or fuse and allow you to map outlets for breakers. It will also allow you to check for leakage currents in branch circuits
