TESTING PROCEDURE :-

Sampling
Take the plug in test tube (blue colour cap/test tube without ml marking) and collect the water sample from the bottom of the pond/tank to be tested, by immersing it and close the bottle with plug in cap under water without any air bubbles.

Oxygen fixation

• Open the plug in cap and add 3 drops of reagent – 1, followed by 3 drops of reagent – 2. Close the cap and shake the test tube up and down until the full test tube water turns cloudly.
• Open the plug in cap again and add a leveled scoop of reagent – 3. Close the plug in cap and shake the test tube vigorously until the clear yellow color shade appears without any precipitation. (repeat the test if the clear yellow coloration does not appear).
• The yellow color clear soloution shows the oxygen is fixed, after this you shall make the dissolved oxygen testing /titration at your convenient time.
