French Arcopal Volcan Casserole / Serving Dish in Opaline Glass

A superb vintage piece made in France by Arcopal, part of their distinctive but increasingly uncommon Volcan range, this large oval dish is heavy and toughened, reminiscent of Pyrex glassware. In a striking marbled orange, mustard and brown with a textured finish this dish is not only a very useful kitchen or dining item but it also would make a fabulous decorative piece in its own right.

The dish measures 27cm by 21cm by 5cm (10½in by 8¼in by 2in) and is in excellent condition.
